Alex earned the Conference USA Golden Boot Award after scoring seven goals in conference play (yes, we said SEVEN) and was ranked second on the team in scoring with 22 points (eight goals, six assists) on the year. Alex was also named to the All-Conference USA Second Team and NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men’s All-Midwest Region Second Team. Dayummm.

Plus this guy’s a southern boy, born and raised- Hometown: Huntsville, AL! Shout to our AlabamaĀ readers! Check out what Alex told TCD in our questionnaire! You’ll love his guilty pleasurĀ and will totally relate to how he answered what he does before a night out!

It’s Monday! Who’s excited?! If these phrases together seem confusing to you then you obviously have not been keeping up with TCD MCM’s! It’s Man Crush Monday peeps!

So without further a due, we are pleased to introduce you to this week’s MCM: Darrell Miller Jr.!

Miller Jr. is a catcher for the UCLA baseball team. But let’s just say this guy has quite the family background in sports. Miller Jr. is son to former big leaguer Darrell Miller who played for the Angels in the ’80s, and his uncle Reggie Miller and aunt Cheryl Miller are both in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

For those of you who are clearly still going through puberty and don’t know who Reggie Miller is, this is the guy who straight embarrassed the Knicks in the 1995 East Semis by scoring eight points in nine seconds for the Pacers to win the game. But back to Darrell! At 6’2, 220lbs, besides being a total BABE, Miller Jr. is also a total bad ass on the field.  Just some of his highlights from the past season include appearing in 55 games, making 53 starts (52 at catcher, one at designated hitter), hitting .257 with 19 runs and 27 RBI. He also has a slugging percentage of .351 and an on-base percentage of .324. Ugh, if you’re baseball girls like us, these numbers (as a redshirt sophomore) just make you swoon! He has even been described by on air announcers as the best batter west of the Mississippi.

Aye, AYE! We’ll be rooting for that cute face next season Mr. Miller Jr.! And somehow I think after this post, we won’t be the only ones! Ladies, meet this week’s TCD MCM…

Darrell Miller Jr.!

IMG_4511Thanks for chatting with us Darrell! You know us TCD gals will be rooting for you in your upcoming seasons and we can’t wait to see you kill it in the bigs! šŸ˜‰

Until Next Time,

Exclusive! MCM: Matt Gandy

Even when he’s yelling- Total. Babe. Status.

When it comes to TCD, we say Monday’s can’t come soon enough!

Feastyour eyes on this week’s MCM, Matt Gandy! Gandy is a college hunk of a baseballer that’s most definitely easy on the eyes! šŸ˜‰

Gandy currently plays on Creighton as the team’s catcher and he also has seen the field as a DH, as seen in his photo where he brought in some runs! Prior to Creighton in 2014, Gandy was the starting catcher at Chapman where he batted an impressive .333 average with 35 hits and 31 RBI.

Can you say D-D-D-DAMN?! Gandy was clearly a force to be reckoned with when it came to the plate, closing the season with a (wait for it…) .667 slugging percentage. (JAWDROP)

Did we mention this was all as a sophomore? Plus the guy made the 2015 first team All Big East Tournament team to top it off.

OKAY. WE SEE YOU GANDY!Ā Want to take on any of us TCD girls at the plate? We’d love to hit a homer with you šŸ˜‰

As always, we give you the fun deets you want to know about these guys aka the questions no other sites ever bother to ask… So let’s give it a go!

Ladies & gentlemen, meet…

MCM: Matt Gandy!

Exclusive! MCM: Connor Halliday

Wishing this Monday you could take a holiday? Well, we can’t give you the day off but we can give you a little HALLIDAY to brighten your day. šŸ˜‰

That’s right baby! It’s another TCD Man Crush Monday!

This week we give you college QB stud, Connor Halliday!

Halliday went to Washington State University to play quarterback for the Cougs and boy were the Cougs fortunate to have him! As a junior in 2013, he started all 13 games setting multiple records including Pac-12 and WSU records with 449 completions and 714 attempts. In the game againstĀ Oregon, he brokeĀ Drew Brees‘ record for pass attempts in a game with 89.Ā His 4,597 yards were also a school record and his 34 touchdowns tiedĀ Ryan LeafĀ for most in school history.Ā

As a senior he would complete something no other NCAA quarterback has done.Ā On October 4 in their game against Cal, Halliday set theĀ NCAAĀ FBSĀ passing yardage record by passing for 734 yards. SAY WHAAA?!

Halliday signed with Redskins this year, but has since made a statement that he will be retiring. We’ll be sad not to watch this entertaining QB out on the field, but we’re glad we got to see you impress in college!

Check out what Halliday told TCD this week and prepare to swoon at his proudest moment. #sopresh

Exclusive! MCM: Nick Wagner

IMG_3466

Monday, Monday! And we got another man for you babes to drool over.

Meet this week’s MCM: Nick Wagner!

Here’s another guy that’s just straight up athletic. This 6’3, 210 lb. hunk was drafted out of high school by the Toronto Blue Jays. Wagner then had a change of plans heading to Oregon to playĀ as a punter for the football team. When he realized how little the team actually punts, he went back to baseball.

He transferred to Dominguez Hills where he spent most of his time batting, with an occasional pitching appearance.Ā Lucky him, becauseĀ Angels scout Dan Cox liked what he saw when he watched Wagner on the mound and invited him to a private tryout.

He hit 95mph. No big deal.

Could he do it again? Sure, why not.

He hitĀ it again at a tryout at Angel Stadium just before the draft.

Needless to say, theĀ Angels spent a 44th-round draft pick and sent him to the Arizona Rookie League, where he proceeded to strike out 32 batters in 191/3 innings.

Wagner spent this past fall working on his pitching in instructional league, however the Angels invited him to spring training in the early group, before the reporting day for the rest of the minor leaguers.

We love a man with plenty to say and boy did we get that from Mr. Wagner this week! Check out all the elaborate responses Wagner had for all our questions! He even hand-wrote them all out for us in his notebook! From the his crush on a childhood fave to admitting to being a total softy (awww), this is a MCM you don’t want to miss out on reading!

Exclusive! MCM: Dante Pettis

Sideline cutie goes to… Dante Pettis. Photo: Daily Exposure

MCM MONDAZE.Ā It’s that time again!

Meet TCD’s MCM this week: Dante Pettis!

Aka the next OBJ. Yeah, we said it.

Pettis is a sophomore WR at the University of Washington. Besides starting for UW as a freshie and playing in 13 of 14 games last season, this kid also managed to tally theĀ first punt return for a touchdown by a Husky since 2003 with an 87-yarder. Need me to repeat? AS A FRESHMAN. 87 yards. He totaled over 250 yards his past season, but remember he’s still young! If you didn’t have your eye on this one before, we suggest you do!

The kid is a baller no doubt. And basketball? Please, he’s already been dunking since high school. Baseball? Well, DUH. No surprise since his father Gary Pettis, is a multiple time golden glove winner as well as the current third base coach of the Houston Astros.

Now all we have to do to get Pettis on OBJ’s level is give him some soccer gloves… Well, and maybe a few more years! This cutie gave us some insight into his world including what he listens to before a game and something you wouldn’t know about him. (Brace yourself for how cute it is, seriously.)

Keep doing what you’re doing D-Mainy, because we’re all loving it over here at TCD!

Time for you peeps to meet…

MCM: Dante Pettis!

Thanks Dante for letting us in to your life & we can’t wait to see the numbers you put up this season for the Huskies! Go Dawgs!

Until Next Time,

Exclusive! MCM: Will Blackmon

1254573-a_beautiful_surprise

Ugh, we just love Mondays over here at TCD. I mean how could we complain when we get to man crush each week on some of the hottest stars in the game!

Meet Will Blackmon.

Sound familiar? Yeah, we thought you might say that, only because not only does this guy ball out in the NFL, he’s probably played for your team. And now that we’ve got the boys attention…

Blackmon played CB at Boston College where he then moved on to play in the pros and was drafted in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers in 2006. With the Packers he scored his first two NFL TDs in the same game on punt returns, one being a recovered fumble- BADASS. In 2008, Blackmon became only the fourth player in team history to return multiple punts for TDs in the same season. Furthermore, he is tied with Desmond Howard for the franchise record for Green Bay Packers with three career punt returns for TDs. But wait there’s more…

After the Packers, Blackmon played for the New York Giants where in 2011, oh yes, he ended the season as a Super Bowl XLVI Champion. But wait, there’s more!

After the Giants, Blackmon played on the Arizona Rattlers (Arena Football), the Seattle Seahawks and the Jacksonville Jaguars. While on the Jags during a game against the Tennessee Titans, he even caused (and recovered!) a Ryan Fitzpatrick fumble, returning it 21 yards for a touchdown, helping the Jags get their first Dubyah of the season.

And guess what Seahawks fans? As of this year, he’s back in Seattle.

As usual, we got in touch with this week’s lovely MCM, Will Blackmon to get all the inside know on the easiest little details of his life including what show he’s a TRUE FAN of! (You won’t ever guess it!)

And hate to break it to you ladies, this lucky fella is already taken by his wife Shauna! But hey, there’s no harm in dreaming! šŸ˜‰

See what this week’s tall, dark and handsome man had to say to TCD!

MCM: WILL BLACKMON!
