If you didn’t manage to catch UFC 190 with Ronda Rousey completely knocking Bethe Correia the f*ck out in 34 seconds, I’m here to help you. Let’s start with a recap.

The Brazilian Bethe Correia came into this fight with nine wins, no losses.

The reason why there was so much hype surrounding this fight was Correia’s way of letting Rousey know she wasn’t scared of her.

She sh*t talked Rousey the whole time, getting absolutely out of control at the weigh in and even added a “I hope you don’t kill yourself when I beat you” to Rousey.

For those of you who don’t know, Ronda’s father unfortunately took his own life. Once Correia said that, Rousey took this fight more personal. OBVIOUSLY.

Staredowns…. Born Ready #UFC190 #Aug1st #andSTILL

A post shared by Ronda Rousey (@rondarousey) on

She wanted to “beat (Bethe Correia) in the most embarrassingly way possible, in her hometown.” Which is exactly what the queen of the cage did. Obliterate Correia in just 34 seconds in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. *Evil laugh*

All the fights leading up to the main event seemed to have had Brazilians, which is not uncommon in the UFC. But, all the Brazilians who entered the octagon that night had the crowd on their side. Until, Rowdy Ronda Rousey took the Octagon, walking out to “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett. The whole arena erupted for Rousey.

Looks like Correia got beat before she got beat. At least in my book.

Money talks, and bullish*t walks.

Why Playing In the Lingerie Football League Would Actually be Awesome

6128857

Ya girl loves her some football.

I love fall. I love tailgating. I love drinking spiked hot chocolate. I love cheering loudly as my team scores touchdown after touchdown (still crushing on you, Russell!)

Like many of the girls here at TCD, in high school, I was a cheerleader so that I could be closer to the field, thus closer to the action. I’m just ’bout that action, boss.

I love getting together with the guys, grabbing a few beers (for each hand, duh) and crowding around the TV to watch a good game. When the boys are tossing the ball around, I love showing off. No one ever believes me when I say I can throw a perfect spiral. Now I’m no Connor Halliday or Russell Wilson (hello, cuties!), but for a girl, let’s just say I’m not too shabby. (I’m sure I could do it in 6-inch heels too. Don’t believe me? Well I’m still not afraid of a challenge…)

Basically, I can hang with the boys and I’m not sorry about it. But back to my point.

Legends Football League

Who says girls can’t play football anyways? I get that football is a man’s sport, I do. There are some things men can do that women just shouldn’t, and vice versa. Football might just be one of them.

Unless there’s a way for these women to be objectified, i.e. running around minimally clothed? Hmm? Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock (or you don’t like big boobs or half naked girls running around, tackling each other), you are well aware of the women’s Lingerie Football League. Because, duh…

External

Well ladies, while your own opinions may not match mine, I think playing in this league would be totally KICK-ASS!

And I think most guys would agree with me when I say there is nothing lady-like about running around minimally clothed, but how much fun does it sound to tackle other girls? Take a big running start and just dive?

What? No? Just me? Oops..

One of the upsides would definitely be your fighting chance when the boys are picking teams for a quick pick up game at the beach or for the annual Turkey Bowl. Anyone looking for a quarterback? My accuracy would blow you away…

Judging by the rules, this game sounds like a lot of fun. Who knows, maybe you’ll see me out on the field next season! 😉 The next football game is this Saturday, August 1st in none other than the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in Kent, Washington! The Seattle Mist is playing the Las Vegas SIN. Buy your tickets here.

And while I won’t be on the field just yet, maybe you’ll see me there! Wait, does anybody actually want to go to this with me? I might need to scope out my competition here…

2. Danica Patrick

image10.PNG

Well obviously this list wouldn’t be complete with Ms. Patrick and her sexy Go Daddy commercials! I mean, she’s a race car driver and a model. Need I say more? She is the most successful woman in American open-wheel racing. In 2013, Patrick was the first woman NASCAR driver to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pole. She got some disappointing news recently, when she was not chosen to be driving in F1 for the new Gene Haas team in 2016. It’s okay Danica, TCD still loves you!

1. Alex Morgan

Numero UNO, Alex Morgan. She’s hot af and she kicks ass. You probably remember Morgan from the Olympic games in London in 2012. She was a part of the Women’s soccer team that took the gold. Morgan was the number one draft pick in 2011 and already has five years of international experience. She is on the U.S. national team for this upcoming World Cup, but her playing time is unsure due to a bruised bone in her left knee. But seriously look at that photo. Smoking hot.

There you have it. These women are beautiful, talented and can kick some serious ass. Enough said.
