Let the DeflateHate Come in Full Force Because Tom Brady is FREE… For Now

Let the DeflateHate come in full force because Tom Brady is headed back to the football field. Oh yeah.

Thursday morning it was announced that the judge (who we now all know his name- Richard Berman) has nullified the judging of Tom Brady’s four game suspension to start the 2015 season. Naturally this stirred up everyone and had the internet going on a rampage of hate or happiness.

ESPN Insider, Adam Schefter, said this was an embarrassment to the NFL…

Cough, cough- They should.

SportsCenter anchor, Steve Levy said he even heard an announcement over the loud speaker in a Boston hospital that “Tom Brady is free.”

HAHA.

Upon hearing the news the Patriots, who were fined $1 million and docked two draft picks as part of the league’s initial punishment, tweeted…

And of course Gronk tweeted about it…

And Trump…

And Barry Bonds.. Wait- Uh, awkward? Wonder what they have in common…

Not to mention Dunkin’ Donuts all along the East Coast rejoice…

But, were we too quick to jump to the conclusion that Brady’s suspension would actually pull through? I mean, there is the fact that there really was no hard evidence against Brady that was brought forth in court… Even though we all know he def deflated some balls. What? Who said that?

But don’t worry the drama continues- NFL Commish Roger Goodell announced later Thursday that they will be appealing the judge’s decision.

OMG. How many times is this going to happen? For real though.

Goodell said in a statement Thursday:

“We are grateful to Judge Berman for hearing this matter, but respectfully disagree with today’s decision,” Goodell said in a statement. “We will appeal today’s ruling in order to uphold the collectively bargained responsibility to protect the integrity of the game. The commissioner’s responsibility to secure the competitive fairness of our game is a paramount principle, and the league and our 32 clubs will continue to pursue a path to that end.”

Despite the appeal, Brady will see the field for his Thursday debut against the Steelers only because the league didn’t seek an emergency stay, freeing Brady to play while an appeals court considers the case, which likely will take months.

If I were a Steelers fan man would I be pissssssed…

Or how about if you already drafted for fantasy? Brady moved from 24th among quarterbacks to 6th. Thank the heavens our TCD draft is tonight. MUAHAHA

So after seven months of declarations and appeals, is this it? Is Deflategate over? Not quite.

Hell, at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama felt the need to hold a press conference on this matter even though eight police officers have been killed in the past nine days and nobody seems to care about that…

Our world is pretty messed up man.

Stay posted and we will fill you in as details continue to come to us on all this Tom Brady drama…

I’m Gonna Show Him What Little Girls Are Made of- Gunpowder & Lead

image6Oh, man does Miranda Lambert say it right. ” I’m gonna show him what little girls are made of- GUNPOWDER AND LEAD!

Well, at least that’s how I was raised.

Disclaimer: I have been around all different types of guns my entire life. I respect them, I value them and I do not ever put anyone in harm. I suggest you do the same. If you’re interested in or curious about guns, take a class, ask someone with experience and read about it. This isn’t the hobby to try and pick up by yourself.

The only type of bad gun is one in the hands of someone who is uneducated about the power that they are holding. This nation was founded by people who believe in the respect of the right to bear arms. Please educate yourselves so you don’t ruin it for everybody else.

If you’re anything like 90% of the people I grew up with, you know nothing about firearms. I am here to save you… That is, in the next conversation you get stuck in with the gun toting right wing conservative like myself. In other words, after this article, you might actually be able to somewhat participate in gun conversation or even listen without feeling completely incompetent.

Assault Rifle

Let’s start with my personal favorite and the guns you see in everybody’s profile pictures: assault rifles. This is the usual gun that the media tries to blame well, everything on. But as we know, guns don’t shoot themselves, right? The most common assault rifles you will hear about are AK-47s, AR-15’s and M4s. And yes I have all three. 😉

These guns are military style, semi automatic, high-powered weapons that have a bad reputation mostly because of the Obama registration. Although we generally use the term “semi-automatic”, these assault rifles, depending on the make and model, can be set to full-auto, semi-auto or three round bursts.

These guns can be manipulated and personalized to make them completely custom which means yes girls, you can have a zebra AR-15 just like Miranda Lambert’s.

Shotgun

Next, my choice for home protection is a shotgun. There’s nothing more terrifying than the sound of a pump action shotgun cocking when you aren’t ready for it. Even though I’m very educated and take the proper safety precautions, fear of the power of guns is not something that you should ever get used to. They were bestowed upon us to protect ourselves and families against enemies foreign and domestic. The respect for these weapons should never be put aside. Shotguns come in a variety of gauges with the 12-gauge and 20-gauge being the most common. The smaller number gauge the larger the barrel. Meaning that a 12-gauge will have a larger barrel, making the recoil a little rougher on your shoulder, but hey that’s the fun of shotguns!

Hand Gun

The most common guns that most people have are handguns. These range in size, kick, color and ammo. Handguns do exactly what the name says, they sit in your hands. Making these perfectly appropriate to shoot as your first gun. Some are so small and lightweight you wouldn’t even know they were in your smallest purse making them excellent for self defense with a proper permit of course.

I hope you learned a little bit and I gave you some insight into my half redneck life. And remember, safety first. Seriously, you don’t want to end up like this moose I got in Alaska.

Happy Hunting!
