Best Cleanses to Try Before Summer Ends

Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to get into shape or at least clean your bod of all the day drinking you’ve actively pursued this summer.

Hence, it’s cleanse time.

Let’s talk about two cleanses that will be a kick-start to losing those extra lbs or just getting your body back to a healthy state.

But don’t worry, this is NOT a fast! It’s a way to give your body the nutrients it needs. There are six 16.9 oz drinks that consist of different blends of fruits and vegetables. Plus they are delicious! Well, there’s one that kinda sucks, but you’ll get over that because the other ones are so bomb diggity.

The Ultra Shake is the nutritional rejuvenator that helps you stay satisfied throughout the day (2x 16oz per day). Kinda like your average protein shake. PBOE- Peanut Butter Over Everything

 

It’s Peanut Butter Jelly time! Song throwback anyone? Actually, scratch the jelly. Who likes jelly anyways? Perhaps I am biased. My apologies to all you jelly lovers. If you are one of the 1.3 percent of Americans that suffer from a peanut allergy, my deepest apologies go to you.

Peanut Butter. How do I even begin? I may have a slight obsession with peanut butter. My friends tell me to stop saying the word “slight” in front of the word “obsession”. Go ahead, call me a peanut butter-a-holic. I wont deny it, and I am not offended.

Except for the times that I eat half of a tub in one day and then realize what I have done. Minor details. (But, ugh, so sad when I only have half left.)

Peanut Butter serves as a valuable source of protein. Protein means: building and repairing muscles, staying fuller longer, and a boost in energy. Those characteristics sound like it can help someone lose weight? Indeed, it can (when eaten in the recommended serving size). Before you all start hassling me on my serving sizes, CAN I GET AN AMEN?

There are also high levels of the heart-friendly potassium found in Peanut butter, which functions as an opposite to the negative effects of sodium. Sodium directly stresses our cardiovascular system, and has been linked to hypertension, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. Sodium also happens to make me puff up like a puffer fish in a defcon 5 situation. THANK GOD, I am just so over that.

 

Peanut Butter contains healthy fats that have been linked to lower one’s risk of heart disease. Along with the healthy fats found in peanut butter, the amount fiber found in peanut butter can lower dissatisfactory cholesterol levels, aid in regulating the digestive system, and even combat obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.

So, if peanut butter isn’t your true love, it can keep you alive to find your true love? BONUS.
